Fénix premiers Oct. 11th at the Short & Sweet Hollywood festival
I've been selected as a Director in the 2019 Short & Sweet Hollywood festival. The festival, which began 18 years ago in Sydney, Australia, is now celebrating its 4th year in Los Angeles. With over 90 plays produced, each piece must adhere to the 10-minute runtime!
Fénix tells the incredible story of Natalia Ponce de León, a Colombian women's and human rights activist who was severely burned by sulphuric acid at the hands of a disgruntled man. The play is written by Neiva native Diana Burbano (AEA) and features Johanna Sol (SAG-AFTRA) from Bogotá.
